K. Jahnke is the Founder and President of Positive Communications
a media and speaker training firm based in Washington, DC. For nearly
fourteen
years, Chris has helped professionals from many walks of life --
Olympic athletes, entrepreneurs, best-selling authors, Members of Congress,
Ambassadors, renowned scientists, and grassroots activists -- prepare
for public appearances. She specializes in helping people craft clear,
concise messages; deliver compelling speeches; and successfully navigate
the media, including: print and electronic news interviews, press conferences
and briefings, and live televised debates.
A prominent political consultant, Chris helped prep Senator Joe Lieberman
for the 2000 Presidential Election Vice-Presidential Debate. In 1996,
she was recognized as “A Rising Star in Politics” by Campaigns & Elections
magazine for her coaching of U. S. Congressional candidates. Chris rehearsed
the platform speakers at the 2000 and 1996 Democratic National Conventions.

in Uruguay.
Chris has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland’s
Center for Political Leadership and Participation.
