We crafted a message that would help legislators understand that there is an urgent need to increase funding now if scientists are to find a cure.” During the training program Jahnke set up and videotaped Congressional office visit role-play exercises. The advocates learned what to expect in a busy Capitol Hill office and how to get their message out quickly.
